I purchased this last week. It's called "Iron Chef Authentic Panko" "Japanese Style breadcrumbs." The ingredients are: Wheat Flour, Evaporated Cane Juice, Dried Yeast and Salt." "No Trans fat, no preseratives, all natural."
I used it for breadcrumbs in lump crab for crab cakes. I can't say that I used too much, or too little, but my crab cakes had an overwhelming taste of this "Iron Chef Authentic Panko." I was hoping for a neutral-tasting bread crumb; perhaps it would be more neutral used in a stronger Italian dish using tomato.
Today I am making more crab cakes, but am using my own homemade breadcrumbs from homemade Italian/French bread.
