We found a cool little breakfast and lunch spot in Seaside last week. It is located on Beach Drive at the corner of Ave. U and Beach. We were riding our bikes down the prom and thought we would stop for lunch. It is only open Thur.-Sun. from 8-2.

The inside is very clean with a small fireplace. We were seated in a comfy booth by the window so I could keep an eye on my Del Sol beach cruiser that attracted a lot of attention! We decided to split a sandwich and have the Fiesta Stew along wtih it.

The sandwich was the chicken salad with oven roasted whole chicken (for more flavor) with almonds, dried cranberries, celery, pineapple anmd apricot mayo. It was delicious on homemade white bread. The fiesta stew was also very good, a bit spicy yet very yummy.

We had the lemon shortbread cookie with a small portion of lemon pudding for dessert. Everything here is very fresh and the breakfast items also sounded very good. I enjoyed a glass of the unfiltered apple cider.

Anyone out and about walking the prom or on the beach, check this place out! The also make a summer salad that sounds really good when the weather gets warmer this summer. Greens and spinach topped with avocado, tomato, garanzo's,purple onion and toasted sesame seeds. Finished with a sprinkle of grated parmesan and a zest of fresh lemon! You can also add bacon or chicken.

The mandarin almond salad also sounds good. Cheers! ***kim***
