Corner Bistro

I went to the corner bistro with a group of friends last night and was disappointed, yet again. The burger was pretty flavorless. Moreover, it was lukewarm when it arrived, so rather than providing a juicy texture, the fat was semi-congealed. The bacon on top was clearly pre-cooked and had lost its crispness. I didn't really like the fries either. This was not the worst burger that I've ever had, however, it would definitely not make my top 50 list of best burger. I suppose there is something appealing about waiting in a long line and enjoying a few beers in a rustic atmosphere, but there should be a better payoff to the built up anticipation. The prices are cheap, too, but frankly, I'd rather pay a little more for a much better burger. I think I will stick to shake shack.
