I've narrowed it down to either a Dacor or Windcrest cooktop for my new kitchen. Each has sealed burners and is 36" wide. Due to limited space I am buying a 36" wide hood.
The surface around the sealed burners on the Dacor looks easier to clean.
The Windcrest has ideal burner position for stir-fry, but looks difficult to clean.
Windcrest has the power burner centered back from the edge of the countertop and in the middle. I figure this will allow my hood to be most effective.
The Dacor has the power burner on the front left side of the cooktop. With the wok positioned at the edge of the hood I am afraid more grease will escape resulting in a greasy kitchen.
Easy clean or burner position?
