I am looking for a specific cookie that was available in central Ohio--and perhapse elsewhere-- throughout the 90's. It was a vanilla sandwich cookie with a swirl pattern cut into both sides and was covered in colored granulated sugar. The color of the sugar would change with the holidays, i.e. red and green for Chirstmas, Orange and Black for Halloween, blue and red for the 4th of July. I think the cookie would have one color on each side. I remember they were available in several stores, so I don't belive they were one store's brand or anything like that.
It seems like the cookies were phased out in the late 90's. I hope that someone can shed some light on the name of the cookie or its manufacturer.
