Regular readers here undoubtedly have seen Brian Yarvin's many informative posts, especially when discussing Asian restaurants in Edison, Woodbridge, and other Central Jersey venues. I have eaten some incredible food in the most obscure places because Brian has done all the legwork.
Well, an article in the Savor section of today's Newark Star Ledger, called "Gold Medal Cuisine", discusses the little-known cuisine of Italy's Piemonte region, where the Winter Olympics are soon to take place. Featured prominently--complete with full color photo-- are authors Maria Grazia Asselle and her husband, Brian Yarvin, whose lastest cookbook, which is called "Cucina Piemontese: Cooking from Italy's Piedmont", has been released. The recipes sound wonderful.
So, congratulations, Brian and Maria, and I know you'll sell lots of books.
If you can't find the Star-Ledger, I think the article can probably be found online at www.njo.com.
