Okay, this is proceeding nicely.
at the least, i probably have lunch down for my break during the show at javits.
someone emailed me about the prix fixe dinner at aquavit's cafe.
anyone know if i would be able to get a table at this late date?
along that line of thinking, are there similarly priced prix fixe meals at some other places around town, preferably midtown and below?
i'd love to throw my money into helping the town recover, and plan to throw most of it into food, but still need to keep it on the cheap, at least for now.
still interested in cheap japanese cuisine outside of sushi, and of course foreign street food.
someone suggested a good soba place i'd like to try.
shabu shabu is probably not good, as it's too similar to something in chinese(which I am), and i don't like it enough to crowd it into a 2 1/4 day NYC stay.
