Would you say Coca Cola and L'Oreal are strange bedfellows? Not when is comes to making a buck, apparently. According to Specialty Food News, the two are partnering to create a new health-and-beauty beverage to launch in 2008. Its working name is Lumaé, and it was trademarked as a tea-based ready-to-drink beverage by Coca-Cola's Beverage Partners Worldwide division. The drink is expected to contain ingredients that will help women care for their skin, according to a report in Brandweek. Coke apparently has launched several neutraceuticals (as they are called) in Japan, including Love Body, which contains an ingredient rumored to increase bust size.
