I just noticed several postings about Clio sashimi bar. I've been there about a dozen times and its my favorite place in Boston.
.but, about 2 weeks ago when I went, the normal sushi chef was not there. it looked like Ken Oringer was training a new guy. nothing was up to par that night. slow service. no boiled peanuts with the edamame snacks and many of the edamame were rotten. new menu items seemed less innovative than old ones.
i know that they've been having a surprisingly tough time packing the house (which is unbelivable, given my past fantastic experiences). hope i had a bad night and this is not a sign of changes to come...
does anyone know if the chef has changed?
