Cincinnati - JeanRo or Nick & Tony's?

Okay, I've got a pair of older folks coming to the area this afternoon and they'll be departing tomorrow morning for a graduation in Granville.

I made reservations yesterday at Nick & Tony's and have been placed on the "wait list" at JeanRo (just found out they've been serving dinner for ~3 weeks). I've been to each, but only for lunch (lunch being my "big" meal of the day). I know I can find something appealing to me at either place (mussels at JeanRo or iron skillet mac-and-cheese at Nick & Tony's – mmmmm). All of us have eclectic tastes and can be satisfied virtually anywhere. We'll probably have a couple of drinks each and a bottle of wine with the meal.

So I guess the question boils down to atmosphere and ability to have a conversation. If anyone can shed some light, it would be appreciated.
