Say what you will about Elmer Dills and his restaurant reviewsk, but on the local KABC news on Sunday mornings he give you an excellent chance to see whatever place is being reviewed, and its food, in full color video. To me that is a big plus.
This restaurant is at the former Industry Hills Sheraton, now called the Pacific Palms Conference Resort. They do a Friday and Saturday night Asian Fusion all you can eat buffet that looked spectacularly good on my tv Sunday morning. I called and they said it runs $38.88 for adults and the hours are 6 P.M. to 10 P.M. and they also do a brunch on Sunday that goes from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. for $35. I didn't ask them what the differences are in the selection of dishes from dinner to brunch, but if we go I will do that first in order to figure out if we are going for dinner or during the day.
Anyone who has actually gone here please chime in with your thoughts, I would be very intersted to read them.
I also understand that some, (many?) Chowhounds do not like or believe in the concept of an all you can eat buffet. If you feel that way please don't bother to respond to this thread as it just wastes band width and isn't really chowcentric to the LA board. If you absolutely feel you need to take up that aspect of things then please discuss it on the Not About Food board.
