CHOZA MAMA - short report

Let me preface this by saying I am no expert in Peruvian cuisine, nor do I pretend to be. In fact, I'm not even sure what "Peruvian cuisine" actually is ...

Anyhow, I digress. Today for lunch, I found myself wandering the streets of Burbank and decided to try CHOZA MAMA (http://www.chozamama.com/) -- a place that bills itself as having "authentic Peruvian cuisine".

I tried one of their chicken wraps and it was quite filling, if not delicious in its own right. This thing was sort of like a burrito on steroids. There was so much meat packed into it that I was worried it would explode with each bite. The taste was a bit sweet/tangy and savory at the same time. Not bad.

The damage for the burrito and an Inca Kola was less than 10 bucks. Not bad.

Oh, they also offer rotisserie chicken, which looked and smelled fabulous ... next time ...

Anyone else been to this place? How are the Yuca fries?
