I am trying to reduce the amount of these hormones in our family's milk/dairy supplies. We are not strictly Cholov Yisroel and not planning on becoming so, but I seem to remember reading at some time that the cows in a Cholov Yisroel farm are not allowed to have such hormones as they cause problems that could "treif up" the cow (udder infections, etc). Am I remembering correctly? I would like to find more kosher cheeses that are rBGH/rBST free. We eat Tillamook kosher cheddar but the some of the kids want something more bland (feh).
