Choice Is terrible...

Well I ate dinner last night at the new place Choice at 220 park avenue south... I have a copy of the menu and i will post it tomorrow, but I have to tell you the food was horrible..
The restaurant sits along park avenue south in a small lofted space which seems to put more emphasis on the bar area then the dining area.. So, i am seated upstairs when i notice that besides Lizzie Grubman and a couple of cheesy friends of hers, we are the only people in the restaurant.. The menu consists of sections divided by price.. And you create a meal by choosing things from different sections.. Since my girlfriend refused to eat after looking at the menu,I knew i was in for a crappy meal.. I had almost lost all hope when the waiter told me there was a 16 dollar whole roasted branzini as the special for the night.. I love branzini ,but had never heard of it being so inexpensive before.. I also never heard of it being served with all its bones before, and i also never had a more disgusting fishy serving before ... I also ordered stuffed crimini mushrooms which i could only eat one of.. The highlight of the meal was the shrimp risotto for 12 bucks.. And although the shrimp were the size of tiny popcorn shrimp, the risotto itself was at least made well.. Not that it is hard to make an ok risotto, but it was the only thing that didnt taste horrible...
For desert i ordered an assortment of sorbets, which were rasberry, lemon ginger, and carbanet.. The rasberry and carbanet were exactly the same, and the lemon giner tasted like raw garlic and was inedible.. I also ordered a donut with espresso gelato and it was just ok...
My prediction based on the horrible food, the small menu. the lack of customers, and the area already saturated with bad restaurant/lounges, this place will be closed in 6months...
