I was addicted to Solferino's Belgian chocolate gelato; now Solferino's closed for good.... It was very smooth with a deep chocolate flavour, not overly sweet... Tonight I tried Ed's chocolate gelato (don't remember the actual name of the flavour), and although it has a nice flavour (not as intense as Solferino's in my opinion), it has a grainy texture, not from ice, but maybe from cocoa powder??? Not sure, but to me it just doesn't measure up... Sad to say.
