I'm doing Chinese nibbles for my twin babies 1st birthday party on Saturday. Doing sliced char sui pork, satay marinated chicken with satay dip, char sui buns, pork dumplings, potato wrapped prawns, sesame prawn toast, 2 whole crispy aromatic duck with pancakes sauce cucumber & onions, fresh water chestnuts soaked in soy, then dipped in brown sugar, wrapped in bacon & baked. Sounds a lot but its the sort of finger food that people descend on like locusts. Should I do something to go with like rice or noodles or something but that will prob be ignored? I have already stocked the freezer up from the Chinese supermarket but will have to go back Sat morning as I forgot some bits. Anything else I could do with little effort?
