First of all, I just want to thank all you chowhounders. Due to the suggestions I've read off of this board, I've enjoyed El Azteca and Soul Fixin's in recent weeks, and look forward to trying many of the other places suggested.
After a thorough search and reading of EVERY (and I do mean EVERY) post about Chinatown on this board, I'm still trying to come up with a restaurant to take a couple of friends to tonight. I know that New Green Bo has been getting some mixed reviews of late, and some of you are quite fond of Nha Trang, New Congee Village, and Big Wing Wong. Another friend who was raised on the LES reccomended me to a place called Harmony Palace, where I will probably wind up going unless I am told differently.
My friends that I am going with aren't the most adventurous type - neither is a big fan of spicy (though I am), and will probably want what is considered to be 'standard' take out chinese in a restaurant setting. Would I be able to take them to a place like Nha Trang, get the mi ca garry for myself and have them able to get the more standard chicken with broccoli that they like? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
(sorry this turned into such a long post!)
