Based on JMV's excellent review here, we went to Chima last night. Chima is a Brazilian steak place on Los Olas..a churrascaria (sp)
I won't attempt to add anything to the linked review because it is so thorough. I will say that I've been to a few churrascarias in other parts of the country and Chima is far and away the best I've experienced. The room is beautiful and the service is extremely professional. Our American waiter explained that all of the Brazilian employees (most are Brazilian) spend 2 years working at the original restaurant in Brazil before working here..also how management fosters a strong sense of teamwork. it works.
The salad bar has a lot of high end items and the meats are of a very high quality. The only thing "missing," that I've had at more downscale churrascarias, was organ meats..chicken livers, hearts, etc.
Very reasonable wine list..plenty of Argentinean reds (perfect combo) in the $30 range.
I highly recommend Chima...eat a light lunch and go hungry..:)
