A whole nother take on Chicken wings is to be had at the Mediterranean Kitchen, at about 4th N and Roy, behind the Seattle Center/Opera House Parking Garage.
To get the best thing on the menu, the Mexxa tray, you must also buy an entree, but you are in luck. They make a platter of fried chicken wings that are so gooood - garlic, garlic, garlic; spicy, nice, wow. On the menu, it is listed as "Farmer's Dish." The Mezza tray includes a whole slate of appetizers: Labneh (drained yogurt), Tabbouleh (mostly parsley, not the hippie-dishwawter version that's mostly bulgher - lemony and good), Hummous, Baba Ganouj, Falafel, Deep Fried Cauliflower (will surprise you!), maybe caled "Zahreh?," olives, pita. Two of us, both big eaters, can barely finish this combo.
