I'm coming to New Orleans the first weekend in March for the first time, and have one dinner available to book for a top-notch, New Orleans experience.
I live in Chicago, so have great dining options all around me. I'm not simply after a memorable upscale dining experience - I can get that here. I'm after the best meal that I could ONLY get in New Orleans. I've considered (on recommendation) places such as Delmonico. Looks great, but I think I could get it here. Not what I'm after.
Commander's Palace? Galatoires? Brigtstens? Or maybe somewhere I haven't heard of yet.
Atmosphere is irrelevant - I want the best cajun/creole seafood dining experience you can recommend. I know this topic has been beaten to death, so am that much more appreciative if you can help.
