Cherry Hill Restaurant in Mississauga

So me and the crew head out for our friday night dinner and decide on hitting up Cherry Hill Restaurant in Mississauga (Dundas and Cawthra.) We checked out the menu displayed outside before heading in but were quick to notice that the $20 entrees were twice as much as the ones posted outside (we concluded that they must have been the lunch versions.) The service was a little less than thrilling (although admittedly, five 24 year olds dressed a little too ghetto fabulous wouldnt encourage stellar service - not that it SHOULD matter...) The decor is alright. Its a small house converted to a restaurant so the dining rooms are small and separated. The food was also okay. Gold star for effort. Nothing to adventurous as far as creativity. The presentation is the way I like it. No hightower of power nonsense. I had crusted lamb chops (pass) w/saffron rice (very nice! tons of saffron) and for dessert i petiferoles (sp. forgot how to spell that) which was unimpressive. Overall, I'd give it another shot since I enjoyed my friends duck.

Gold star for effort.

Oh yeah, rumor 'round the way say this joints haunted. When our waiter overheard that, he gave a slight chuckle...
