Mt boyfriend and I celebrate our tenth anniversary this weekend in Montreal. We don't have much money, so we couldn't afford Europe, and Montreal seemed like the most affordable alternative.
We live in NYC, where we enjoy the local sport of finding the best, most unique weirdo local food for CHEAP. CHEAP is the objective. Don't worry, I tip like crazy.
Oh, I'm weeping I wanna try Pied de Couchon so bad. The pig's ears at Chorus sound right up my alley. But a hundred bucks is too much per person for us, Canadian bucks or no!
How about a maximum of $75 Canadian, total? Ignore the wine; we'll figure that out for ourselves. Nothing fancy. Something very very Montreal.
Thanks to those who mentioned Jano, for me. Thanks to those who mentioned Frite Alors for my simpler boyfriend.
I salute all who accept this cheapskate challenge.
