Cheap chinese snacks

I've never seen this place posted. It is a little hole in the wall and the sign in English just lists it as 242 Grand St. (cornery of Bowery). It sells all kinds of fresh noodles for cooking at home and also has some takeout. Severl kinds of congee, bean curd off the grill, stickyrice in tamale type wrappers and as rolls (looking like uncut sushi rolls)and other interesting little tidbits I have yet to sample. Everything is $2 and under and serves a mostly Chinese clientel - the staff speaks almost no English so I usually just point.
But everything I've had was very tasty.
