Charleston-weekend in the historic distric, walking distance please

I will visit Charleston for the 1st time end of March. I will only be in town 2 nights (Friday & Saturday) and will not have a car. I'm staying in the historic district. I'm looking for rec's for 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts & 1 lunch plus some snacks/desserts if there's anything "must try".
There will be 2 of us in our early 30's, we like EVERYTHING and our budgets are open, we prefer meals under $20 plus tip, but will pay more if it's totally worth it. We prefer restaurants in walking distance to our hotel (staying on Cannon St.) Here's what I have so far, please let me know what you think of these choices and anything else that is must try:
Martha Lou's
Hominy's (better for breakfast, lunch or dinner?)
Jim & Nick's-looks kind of chainy?
