So after a few exchanges on this board, Chandra brought by some delivery menus and I figured it was time to give them another try.
We ordered beef satay, cashew chicken, and crispy basil shrimp - the shrimp was one frequently recommended by Chowhound folks.
The satay and cashew chicken (spicy!) were both excellent, and survived the hour-plus delivery time (Tuesday night; it was raining; I'll give 'em a break). The shrimp, however, was disappointing - just seemed like more of that typical Americanized "fry it and dump a bunch of sweet gloppy sauce on it" version of Thai. Ah well, live and learn.
That said - we liked the other dishes so much that we're trying them for delivery again tonight, and I'm open to suggestions for spicy, non-sticky-sweet-sauced, and non-rice- or noodle-oriented suggestions.
Thinking of prik king, and the red curry with lots of veggies - IIRC it has eggplant, zucchini, etc.
