My wife and I had a couple of drinks and dinner at the bar here last night. It is the bar that is connected to and run by Cafe Provence. They have a limited but good selection of tap beer including a couple of local brews (and PBR!).
We had buffalo wings, which were a large serving for 8.95. The downside is that they either prefried and then warmed in the oven or baked completely in the oven. I'm not sure, simply because I saw the bartender put them in the oven but they didn't take long enough to cook for them to have been raw when they went in. Therefore, they were not as crisp as I like, but still were good. The buffalo sauce was pretty mild but very tasty and the blue cheese dressing was out of this world.
My reuben was very small, but very tasty. The chicken and cheese queso was a very large portion stuffed with lots of cheese. Nothing special as far as flavor but good. The bad was the guacamole, a $2.00 option was terrible. It was bland and had a left in the fridge too long taste.
They were very busy and said that they hadn't expected to be, so they were a bit short staffed, but the service was okay.
The food, plus one large mixed drink and 2 pints of beer was $47 before tip. We had enough leftovers for a light lunch.
I will definately go there again, but I wish the wings were crispier.
