Cayenne Mediterranean Cafe

A basket of warm pita and dark breads accompanied by oil with spices and a separate reduction of pomegranate was served when we were seated.
We ordered the minted ice tea and the herbal chai. Both were very good.
My vegetarian mixed plate of spinach pie, falafel, grape leaves, tabbouleh, hummos and olives ($14)and just made bean soup for $1 extra was perfect. The hummos was the best I've had, better than mine at home and there was enough of everything for two meals. The tabbouleh had a hint of mint.
My daughter enjoyed an excellent Cobb salad $9. there were several soup/half salad combinations available for $8.50.
The Lebanese dessert knafe sounded like the healthiest choice. It was absolutely beautiful, heavenly tasting (probably not healthy) and now we are searching for recipes to try making this at home. It looks complicated. The bread pudding was also highly recommended.
The quality of service and attention to our satisfaction was outstanding.
I see they are also open for breakfast and M-F before ll am they offer any breakfast item for $6.50.
