We are thinking of having our wedding next year at a winery or other location in the Santa Barbara wine country, i.e., Santa Ynez/Los Olivos/Solvang/Buellton area. :)
I live in L.A. and have no familiarity with caterers in Santa Barbara (I assume they would travel up to the wine country for a large event) or up in the wine country. I am trying to avoid typical wedding food - which in my experience has never been as good as what you would get in a restaurant. I figure our chowhound nature should be carried through to our wedding!
So far I know of Gainey, Firestone, Sunstone and Bridlewood as potential sites - if you know of others, please include them as well. Thanks in advance for all your suggestions.
