I previously posted regarding caterers in the wine country, but now realize that most all caterers in SB will service that area. We are getting married in Los Olivos next year and would love to find a caterer that uses fresh (and local if possible) ingredients to create a menu that is inventive and delicious. Basically, a company that eschews the usual wedding/large-catered-event fare. (I understand BBQ is a popular choice, and though that sounds fun, it is not what we are looking for.)
The winery where we are getting married (actually, the Firestone Crossroads estate- not the actual winery) is so beautiful--I just want to make sure the food is as spectacular as the setting!
So far we have appointments with New West (recommended by someone in response to my last post) and are talking to both Lorraine Lim (in SB) and Pure Joy (in SB)- but b/c I do not know anyone in SB, I am looking for a first hand recommendation.
