Casual options & what to have for Breakfast?

Headed to Vegas next week with 7 friends (all ladies) to celebrate 40th b-days. Booked Fleur de Lys for our first dinner/big $$ meal of the weekend. Doing RM Seafood the 2nd night, pre-show. We are staying at Mandalay Bay - drinks at Mix are a must. Are there any good more casual (and lower price point) places to consider for Friday night, or good happy hours? I've made note of Raku and Lotus of Siam but I don't know if the group will be up for venturing too far off strip - if so will we be able to get last min reservations at either?

Oh and what are the best breakfast/lunch options for us? TIA!
