The front page story in the Food Section of the Chron this week opened with a reference that was new to me:
Casa Ordina was described as a 70 year old Contra Costa County institution that is a favorite among Bay Area chefs and renowned for its fried chicken, which is dusted with a specially milled flour and pressure-fried.
How good is it? Worth a drive from SF just for dinner?
Do they have good desserts?
Any comments would be welcome, since I know nothing about this restaurant. Unfortunately, the article does not give any information on its location. I would assume it is in Orinda (?)
