Casa Inka in Fountain Valley. Outstanding Peruvian Food.

Thanks to Servorg's search abilities and BrewNChow's recommendation (http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/904903), I decided to give this a try.

The food is excellent here. As good as what I've had in Miami. The beef seco was spot on in flavor profile to what I had in Peru last month.

We had:

-beef heart antichucho. Flavorful, tender. Very good beef heart antichucho.

-shrimp chupe. Tasty! Shrimp, rice, potatoes, touch of cream. Highly recommended.

-crab causa aka causa de cangrejo. Pretty good. Not the biggest fan of causa but this was a good version.

-Arroz con mariscos. Outstanding. Seafood is very good, rice flavorful, and little bits of crunchy bits of rice from the bottom of the pan. Outstanding.

-Pescado a lo macho. Fried fish filet topped with scallops, shrimp, and cuttlefish. Very light and elegant cream sauce. As good a version as I've had in Miami.

-Beef seco. Also outstanding. Incredibly flavorful. Beef marinated in cilantro and spices and stewed so it is tender. Again, identical in flavor profile to what I had in Peru.

Spot on Peruvian food in OC. Very, very impressive.
