I miss dishes from my childhood near NYC, like wor shu opp.
I'm also looking for wonton soup where the wrapper is tender and folded, filled with a pork or chicken mixture with chopped water chestnuts (no shrimp, please, I'm allergic). Hong Kong Cafe on Church used to serve this before it was replaced by Red Jade.
I hear Superior Palace on Balboa & 37th Ave serves good authentic Cantonese food -- anybody try it?
