Calling all SUSHI lovers!!! Question....

Let me first get this off my chest - I am a sushi feen. Besides delicious, super fresh sashimi, I am a true sucker for those innovative colorful sushi rolls (using spicy mayonnaise on the side like it’s the end-of-the-world). Being a "West-Sider," I have frequented Zuma Sushi (in Zuma Beach), once to Nobu (in Malibu), but my all-time favorite was Something's Fishy on PCH right off of Topanga Canyon. I would dream of their rolls and made it a habit of paying my visit at least once a week. The prices were reasonable (unlike Nobu), fish was melt-in-your-mouth fresh, friendly sushi chefs and most importantly, served phantasmagorical rolls (so good you wanted to close your eyes because you felt like you were in heaven). Unfortunately, they closed down... I've had so many awesome memories there.

Finally comes my question: Where is a reasonably priced sushi restaurant that creates mouth-watering rolls as good as Something's Fishy in Malibu (and the Something's Fishy in the Valley doesn't count... though I have never been there, I heard it’s nothing close to the level of the one on PCH)? And if you have more than one recommendation, bring it... but please keep the list in the LA vicinity (i.e. nothing like Northridge or Anaheim). Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
