Caldo de Pollo for a Cold Day

Davina | Apr 17, 2006 06:53 PM

Went to a place Thursday evening while I was waiting for my car to get fixed, hole in the wall called Tacos Kenia on Sepulveda in Van Nuys. Anyone heard of it? I had the best Caldo de Pollo I've ever had in my life. A huge steaming bowl of rich soup with chunks of corn on the cob, chicken, zucchini, carrots, celery and potatoes. Served with homemade corn tortillas that melt in your mouth, a lil on the sweet side. A Mandarina Jarritos, huge bowl of chicken soup, homemade corn tortillas, chips and salsa for $8.50. Scrumptious. I went back today for more. Gracious wait staff too.

Tacos Kenia - 7302 Sepulveda Bl. Van Nuys, CA 91405. Between Sherman Way and Victory, East Side.
