After wanting to check it out for years, I finally got to eat at Cafe Campagne and even though I wasn't disappointed, I wasn't totally blown away either. Went with my sister-in-law and we shared two fish dishes (halibut and trout) and a side of greens. Everything was yummy, but somehow I was hoping for more. Probably should have gone with my first instinct and ordered the pan roasted chicken. Maybe I have just been anticipating this restaurant visit for so long that it couldn't possibly match my expectations?
We almost ate at the Pink Door. I think that will be our next splurge dinner out in the city (neither of us lives in Seattle, but we meet there for a night out without partners or kids). Will the Pink Door live up to expectations? Anyone else have a better suggestion in that part of the city?
