Cafe Bink, and a St. Pat's Cocktail

From a visit a few weeks ago - just wanted to mention this in time for St. Patrick's Day because I had a FANTASTIC cocktail that the new manager/mixologist, Troy Pudney, created for St. Pat's - his version of a Blackthorne, using Irish whiskey, absinthe, dry vermouth, Old Time bitters, flaming orange zest, and a Guiness reduction rim. He also made one of the best Aviations I've ever had, using Bluecoat American gin. I'm really excited to have well-crafted cocktails from such a passionate pro (he even brings his vintage barware from home) at one of my favorite spots.

Food was also delicious as always. I was joined by Themis and AZVineandWines for a leisurely lunch which included a bottle of Arizona Stronghold's Tazi, the fries (of course!), Amy's bolognese with polenta, creamy wild mushroom soup, and the spinach, bacon, and blue cheese quiche.
