Tried this new champagne bar in the Westport area.
Nice room, has that cozy, French bistro type of feel to it.
If you like the bubbly, this is a good place for you. I spotted about 30 different selections, with around a dozen or so Champagnes, as well as a nice selection of cocktails made from the sparkling wines.
The menu, and really the entire place, has a "happy hour" feel to it. That's not a bad thing, just as a warning to folks who come here looking for a full meal -- you're shit out of luck.
That said, there's a small but appropriate selection of grub to wash down the bubbly with. A jambon plate is nice -- as the meat is nice and salty, and the focaccia (or the "Pissaladière" if you want to be technical about it) with caramelized onions and anchovies pairs really well with one of the Brut based cocktails.
A perfect respite for a solo traveler dining alone.
