I promised my wife I'd make her lobster this weekend. It's her favorite, while I can take it or leave it. Anyway, I bought a little propane tripod cooker for my patio so I don't have to do them inside and smell up the house. And I've got a large, black enamel seafood steamer so that I don't have to boil them. I've got the plates, and the tools. I think I'm ready to go.
Now I need the lobsters! I see them at Giant. They're alive. Does that mean they're just as fresh as any other place? I doubt it, but wanted to ask. I know there is Cameron's in Bethesda, can anyone recommend it? And there is a seafood store at Chevy Chase Circle, is it any better? I know she can eat at least a 2-3 pounder, so I'm looking for pretty large ones.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
