I just checked out Burger Brats, here's my report.
I tried a normal burger and an 'Angry Texan'. Both are made with handmade patties, 6oz, and the beef was very flavorful. The patties were juicy, but some burger hounds may find the beef a bit too lean for their liking (you're not going to get fat dripping down your arm here). The Texan, like several of their burgers, featured some very nice peameal bacon, and was monstrously huge. The bun on either burger was nothing special, but got the job done.
They are rocking some poutine with high quality curds and their fries are fresh cut and crispy. I actually find this to be one of the better poutines in the area.
Nathans dogs are also on offer, although I haven't gotten one (yet).
Price for a basic burger, fries, and drink comes out around $10. A bit steep, but pretty much par for the area.
It seems like with this place, along with M:brgr, the Grindhouse, and Craftburger, Toronto is getting a bit of a 'burger district'.
