Brunoise/Lemeac/etc.......

Hey -

Just wanted to thank the board for the reccomendations of Brunoise & Lemeac, both of which we tried in Montreal.

Lemeac - Ate outside on the terrace which was great and sheilded from the street noise, nice outside alternative. The food was a good modernization of classic bistro fare.

Brunoise - More complicated food, presentation, etc but the flavors ran true. Bit more upscale than Lemeac and a bit more contrived in terms of presentation but all in all a good find and highly reccomend it. Zach the co-owner was very freindly and took the time to chat with us after the meal which was a nice touch.

Bistro Boris - Just a shourt note that if anyone is ever looking for a lunch alternative when staying in Old Montreal, Bistro Boris on Mcgill offers good outside dining and decent food.
