hey everyone, this is my inaugural post to chowhound... what a great find!
spent an hour or so last week reading posts, and based on reviews for brother jimmys, decided to give their famous dry rub ribs a try.
sad to say, i did not enjoy them very much! they were rather dry and stringy, and the 21 flavors just didn't seem right. then again, i really prefer simpler seasoning that enhances, rather than overpowers. may have caught them on an off day, but it just didn't work for me.
on a positive note, their fire fries were excellent, as was the macaroni and cheese! and of course, it's difficult to not like $1 pabst blue ribbons!
next week i'll be going to bigelow's for some fried clams.. but for now, my quest for great ribs continues.
