Broadway Panhandler sale this weekend/cookware questions

Brandy | Jun 5, 2002 02:40 PM

Hello all,

Got a question.... Broadway Panhandler is having their annual sale this weekend and I was wondering:

1. Do they have a good selection of stuff and are their normal prices good? I'm in the market for a saute pan and a large pot (for pasta, etc) but I'm not able to spend *tons* of money on them. I just want to know when I go there if the prices are good ones or if I should shop around.

2. I'd like to get a nice saute pan - a 12" with a lid that can go in the oven. A good one so I won't have to keep replacing them... I use that thing most every day so it needs to be durable. Suggestions for what brands I should look at and what the approximate normal price is so I know if this sale is any good would be appreciated.

3. I'm also looking for a big pot for pasta and potatoes and the like... what kind should I get? I know it should be lightweight so I can lift it... is there any material I should stay away from because it'll react with food?

Thanks in advance!
Brandy
