Bringing Polish Food Home to SF: Report Back

I posted on this several months ago and several people were kind enough to help. The basic query was: where to pick up some pierogi and kielbasa walking from the Blue Line to O'Hare (before flying home to San Francisco).

I ended up going to Andy's on Division. People looked at me a little funny when I opened a suitcase lined with styrofoam and started packing pierogi into ziploc bags (ziplocs hold WAY more in a given suitcase space than the plastic containers the pierogi are sold in)

Andy's was a great choice for convenience and food. So far, we've tried the swojska, potato pierogi, and meat pierogi and all have been fantastic. My only complaint is the lack of other frozen food. While there, I got a pork rib dinner with cabbage -- also fantastic.

Anyway, thanks for your help. I wish we had anywhere close to the wealth of Polish options that you have -- enjoy!!
