Finally made it to Brent's Deli last night. The biggest yet lightest matzo ball I've ever had. The chopped liver was good but a little sweet for me. However my dining companion loved it.
One question. She ordered the stuffed sweet and sour cabbage. It came with a thing that looked like a piece of sausage but it tasted like stuffing in a tube. She thought it was kreplach but I thought kreplach was more like a dumpling, and after looking it up on the web it seems that I was closer.
Any idea what it was? It's not that we loved it...just curious.
