This article made me laugh and I wanted to share it w/ the rest of Chowhound.

For the record, my preference is sourdough for almost all applications, toast, sandwiches, french toast, which was not mentioned. SO's choice is rye or pumpernickel. I laughed at Jason's analogy of multi-grain.
