Can I braise two briskets overlapping each other?

I am making 2 four-and-a-half pound briskets tomorrow. They are flat and so I was going to braise them in a rectangular baking dish. This means that I will have to brown them and all the aromatics in another pot and then transfer them over. However, I can keep them in the same pan or dutch oven if I permit them to overlap, or keep them somewhat on their sides...will any of these work?

Thanks.
