Just spent three days in Boston and had some fine meals and one bad meal.
Dinner at Troquet- excellent, great wine, very nice service
Lunch at Thai Basil on Newberry- the beer was good
Lunch at L'espalier- one of the better meals I have had in a while,
spring veggie broth soup with mushrooms and truffle oil, rabbitt pot pie, espresso creme brulee,
all very good (soup was a 10) and all for the $24 prix fixe
Dinner at Island Hopper on Mass. - good and different but not nearly as spicey as I was led to believe.
All in all a very good three days of food and a nice city.
