I just discovered this little gem on Danforth Ave, just a bit east of Main St. They specialize in fried chicken. Their chickens are specially marinated overnight and steamed/baked (or so I have been told). Served with some kind of sour (tamarind??) sauce. Less fatty and very tasty. Totally different than other fried chicken places.
But, if you are there, you gotta try out their special "Morg Pillaw". This is the best "Morg Pillaw" (specially cooked chicken on special Pillaw rice)I have ever had in Toroto. The chicken is very soft and the aroma .... ahhhh, still can smell that. The only complaint I have is that it's not spicy enough for my taste.
It is a small joint for mostly take-out menu. But they have couple of tables (5/6) to eat-in as well. So far I have only been there twice. Can't wait to go back there to try out other menus (they have some specials like Mughlai Parata, Haleem, Mutton Biriyani, Kebab etc.). Highly recommended for other fellow Chowhounds like myself.
