Boca Steakhouse

Recently ate @ Boca in Novato for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the food was definitely of a high quality. The wedge salad with blue cheese was drenched in dressing but other than that, no complaints except that the waiter didn't really know much about the wine list. Had the flank steak ($17!) which was cooked to perfection and I loved the different sauces served along side of it. It comes with a huge baked potato and green beens. The creamed spinach is different but delicious - the leaves are served whole, not shredded. Along with the fantastic, freshly baked sourdough rolls, homemade pickles are also served. The vanilla cheesecake is unique and unforgettable.
